Neymar, the Brazilian football star, scored his first goal for Al-Nassr SC in their opening match against Al-Hilal FC on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old played as a central midfielder and scored from a free-kick to help Al-Nassr win 1-0 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
It was a dominant performance by Neymar, who completed 12 tackles during the game, which is one more than he has made in any other club match.
The Brazil international also had two assists, with both coming in the second half when Al-Nassr went ahead 1-0 through a penalty kick from Youssef Haddad.
Neymar's performance was praised by his teammates, coaches and fans alike, with many taking to social media to express their admiration for the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player.
