On Sunday, May 29th, 2021, Ben Seghir, the 46-year-old British Formula One driver, passed away at his home in Monaco. He was known for his work as a racing driver and has been a part of the sport since 1995.

Seghir started his career in Formula Three, where he won several championships. In 1997, he moved up to Formula One, driving for the Jordan team. He spent two years with the team before moving on to drive for Williams-Renault in 1999. During his time with Williams, Seghir scored three podiums and finished third in the drivers' championship.

In 2002, Seghir joined the Sauber team, but he struggled to find consistency and left after one season. However, in 2003, he returned to Formula One, this time driving for the Minardi team. He had a successful season, scoring five points and finishing ninth in the drivers' championship.
