The Shanghai Port Authority (SPA) has released key data indicating that the port is experiencing ongoing losses due to the global economic downturn and supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic.

According to the latest figures, the total cargo throughput for the first nine months of this year was down by 12% compared to the same period last year.
